Hebe Verstappen, head of the TextielLab

With a background in the makers’ industry and an education in the field of art, design and teaching, Hebe has an in-depth understanding of making processes related to the creative industry, further enhanced by a broad range of specialist textile courses. Hebe has been responsible for the TextielLab’s artistic, creative, educational and business ambitions since 2015. She shapes the lab’s vision and policy and selects new projects that support this vision. In addition, she establishes links between our makers, education and knowledge partners, the industry and the possibilities offered by the TextielMuseum and TextielLab.
