Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe

Introduction.
Miriam van der Lubbe and Niels van Eijk are a design duo who seamlessly connect strategy, design and realisation. With a background spanning the Design Academy Eindhoven, the Sandberg Institute and TU Delft, Miriam has developed into an influential voice within the creative sector. As co-founder of Dutch Design Week and Creative Head since 2022, she plays an active role in shaping the design field, alongside various board positions within the cultural and creative industries.
Niels began his career in mechanical engineering before graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven. Driven by a fascination with technology, materials and craftsmanship, he translates ideas into tangible and meaningful designs. Working closely with partners, producers and makers, he realises projects that not only function, but also resonate.
Together, they collaborate with ambitious and critically engaged teams who are committed to making a genuine impact. Their approach is inquisitive and forward-thinking: not taking the safe route, but exploring what can be done differently — more intelligently, more humanly, and more unexpectedly. Design is their tool; impact is their goal.
They support organisations in developing vision and innovation strategies rooted in their ambitions, translating these into physical, experiential environments. Not surface-level decoration, but design that contributes to a smarter, more social and inspiring world — step by step, design by design.
