<html><body>The series is a celebration of 15 years of collaboration between Studio Job and the TextielMuseum. One of their first designs for the museum was the Insects tea towel (2003). It became an instant hit and has made its way into hundreds of thousands of homes over the last decade. This tea towel is also included in the new series, although now in different colour schemes. In addition to Insects, two new designs have been introduced to the product line: Perished and Folklore. Perished is an intriguing pattern of dancing animal carcasses. The cartoon-like, graphic skeletons of turtles, birds and crocodiles refer to superstitious fears, the contrast between life and death and the excessive, sometimes violent moments that are part of our society. The products, six throws and nine tea towels, were presented during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven in 2017.</body></html>

<html><body>The comprehensive Labyrinth project by Studio Job is dominated by a green and white labyrinth pattern. The TextielMuseum commissioned Studio Job to design a carpet, interior textiles, scarves, tea towels and tableware using the various techniques in the TextielLab.
The idea for a fabric with a labyrinth pattern goes back several years, when the designers were commissioned by an Italian furniture manufacturer to cover an armchair with the pattern. The commission did not go ahead, but the idea remained and, at the TextielMuseum&rsquo;s invitation, the labyrinth pattern was finally realised on various textiles using a range of techniques such as tufting, weaving and printing. The archetypal green and white colour scheme refers to the English labyrinths with their clipped green hedges and white gravel paths. The labyrinth itself is a metaphor for searching but not finding. The entire installation, as seen in the 2008 exhibition &lsquo;Van Labyrinth tot Big Mama, Projecten uit het TextielLab&rsquo;, is now part of the TextielMuseum collection.</body></html>

<html><body>Het TextielMuseum gaf Studio Job de opdracht om een tapijt, interieurtextiel, sjaals, theedoeken en tafellinnen te ontwerpen, waarbij gebruik werd gemaakt van de verschillende technieken in het TextielLab.
Het idee voor een stof met een labyrintpatroon ontstond al enkele jaren eerder, toen de ontwerpers de opdracht kregen van een Italiaanse meubelfabrikant om een fauteuil met dit patroon te bekleden. Die opdracht ging uiteindelijk niet door, maar het idee bleef bestaan. Op uitnodiging van het TextielMuseum werd het labyrintpatroon uiteindelijk gerealiseerd op diverse textiele toepassingen met technieken zoals tuften, weven en bedrukken.
De archetypische groen-witte kleurstelling verwijst naar Engelse labyrinten met hun strak geknipte groene hagen en witte grindpaden. Het labyrint zelf staat symbool voor zoeken zonder te vinden. De volledige installatie, zoals gepresenteerd in de tentoonstelling &lsquo;Van Labyrinth tot Big Mama, Projecten uit het TextielLab&rsquo; (2008), maakt nu deel uit van de collectie van het TextielMuseum.</body></html>
