Open Call Graduates

Would you like to develop your graduation project in the TextielLab? Apply by 5 October for the chance to work in the lab this winter, with guidance from one of our product developers specialising in knitting or weaving. We are looking for ambitious graduating students with innovative ideas and a passion for textiles.

At the TextielLab, you have the opportunity to further develop and realise your project using professional machinery, high-quality materials, and the knowledge and expertise of our product developers.

If selected, you will have 3 days for weaving or 5 days for knitting to work on your project under professional guidance. You can also make use of the knowledge and facilities of the TextielMuseum, including our extensive library, lectures and workshops.

How to apply

Submit an application outlining your project, concept and plans. Tell us what you would like to explore and develop, and how you would make use of the possibilities and expertise available at the TextielLab.

Please make sure your project preparation is completed before the start of the work period, so you can get straight to work during your time in the TextielLab.

Deadline

Are you graduating in the winter? You can apply for the November–December work period. The deadline to apply is Monday 5 October 2026 at 23:59 CET.
